"When Failure Isn't Final" (Peter's Denial)
In contrast with our message about Judas, we take a look at Peter's denial of Christ. It is recorded in all four gospels. Peter was filled with pride and presumption, and it led to his temporary demise. But Peter came back from his epic failure to lead the Apostles and the early church. What made the difference for Peter? We will look at the reason for Peter's restoration in this message. Hopefully this will be an encouragement to anyone who has failed the Lord at any given time. Haven't we all been guilty of that at some point? Thankfully, failure for the true believer is never final!

"When Failure is Final" (Judas' Betrayal)

We take a look at the life of Judas as recorded in the Gospel records. Is he an example of a believer who lost his salvation? Could there be another explanation? We will explore this tragic figure and hope to learn from his example. What a shame that he was so close to Jesus, yet so far from salvation! This is a dire warning for all who look at religious activity as assurance of salvation. (NOTE: The audio doesn't begin until around the 11 minute mark)

The Six Trials of the Savior
Monday Mar 23, 2026
Monday Mar 23, 2026
In today's message we will look at the six trials that Jesus endured, before going to the Cross. He would face three religious trials from the Jews (Annas, Caiaphas, the Sanhedrin). They would pronounce Him guilty without any evidence or a fair trial. The final three trials were by Pilate, Herod Antipas, and Pilate for the second time. Pilate boldly declared "I find no fault in Him." Jesus Christ endured those illegal trials so that you and I could be reconciled to God. Before He was ever crucified, He had suffered unimaginable cruelty and pain. May we never forget the sufferings of Christ...or the glory to follow!

2 Corinthians 11:1-15 "Disguised as an Angel of Light"
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
Wednesday Mar 18, 2026
Paul is forced to defend his integrity against the (so-called) "super apostles" that had corrupted the Corinthian church. He warns against those who preach "another Jesus" and "another gospel." The same danger holds true today. Make sure you have believed in the Jesus of the Bible! Satan does not come showing his true colors. Instead, he masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising that his "ministers" have adopted the same approach. Jesus warned His followers, "take heed that no man deceives you."

"A House Call from the Great Physician" (Matt 9:9-13)
Monday Mar 09, 2026
Monday Mar 09, 2026
Matthew records his conversion in his Gospel. A despised tax collector is the object of Christ's affection. Matthew responds immediately to His invitation. He then hosts a feast for Jesus Christ and his fellow tax collectors. The Pharisees were outraged that the Master would eat with such outcasts. Christ reminded them that the spiritually sick are the ones who need the Great Physician. Our Lord did not come to call the righteous (there truly aren't any) but sinners to repentance.

2 Corinthians 8:1-9 "Unexpected Grace
Monday Jan 19, 2026
Monday Jan 19, 2026
The Apostle Paul writes to the Corinthians concerning giving. He has been collecting an offering for the poor saints in Jerusalem. The Corinthians had pledged to give to the offering. This stirred the Macedonians to participate in the offering as well. Despite their extreme trials and poverty, they pleaded with Paul for the chance to participate in this ministry. Paul does not appeal to any Old Testament command or percentage for required giving. The key word in this passage is "grace." The ultimate example of "grace giving" is the Lord Jesus Christ. He left the splendor of Heaven and became a man so that one day we can share in His glory! (Rom 8:17)

Psalm 90 "Time is Running Out"
Monday Jan 12, 2026
Monday Jan 12, 2026
In today's message we look at the oldest Psalm in the Bible; Psalm 90. We know it's the oldest because it was written by Moses. At the end of the wilderness wanderings, Moses prepares the new generation to enter the Land of Canaan. Most of the Exodus generation passed away due to the sin at Kadesh-Barnea. Joshua's generation needed to be reminded of God's covenant faithfulness and exhorted to "number their days."

We look at God's instructions to Joshua prior to entering the Promised Land. With the death of Moses, Joshua is now the leader of God's people. The LORD gives Joshua specific instructions on how to be successful. Those same principles will apply to us living in the year 2026. Happy New Year and thank you for listening!
