The 2nd Giving of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 34)

In Exodus 34, Moses climbs Mt Sinai once more and God issues the 10 commandments for the 2nd time.  Further, God reveals Himself to Moses and shows him his glory (at least the afterglow).

Exodus 33-  Moses intercedes for the people once again and asks God to show him His glory! 

"And Now the Axe is Laid Unto the Root of the Trees" (Luke 3 :1-18)

In Luke 3, we see John the Baptist boldly preaching a message of repentance in the wilderness.  People from all walks of life are coming to hear the words of this last Old Testament Prophet.  His message is one of conviction without compromise.  May God raise up more men like John in these last days!

Who Is On The LORD's side? (Exodus 32 continued)

God tells the people that He is not going up with them to the land of Promise.  Moses continues to intercede for the people.  Forgiveness is granted, but an atonement is necessary.

THIS IS CONTINUING OUR STUDY ON JOHN THE BAPTIST.

John the Baptist pt 1

In this message we look at details surrounding the birth of John the Baptist. He would be the forerunner to announce the coming of the Messiah.

"His Grace is Sufficient" (2 Cor 12:1-10)

Paul speaks of his "thorn in the flesh" which caused him great distress.  The thorn is not specifically identified and that's a good thing because we can all relate.  We all have struggles and challenges that drive us to our knees.  But God's promise to Paul is also to us- His grace is sufficient! 

"When God Comes To Church (Part 2)" / Luke 4:22-44

After preaching in His home town of Nazareth, he received a less than favorable response.  Next, Jesus goes to Capernaum where He would have a powerful and fruitful ministry.   They beg Him to stay, but He will not be deterred from the mission at hand. 

"When God Comes To Church (Part One)" / Luke 4:14-21

Jesus came to Nazareth and taught in his home synagogue.   He announced to them that day that the prophecies about the Messiah had finally come true.  He came to heal the brokenhearted, bring recovery of sight to the blind, and release the captives.  Do you need a breakthrough today?
