I John 2:28-3:3 "Behold What Manner of Love"

John encourages the faithful to meditate on the abundant love God has lavished upon us through the person and work of Jesus Christ who died for us while we were yet sinners!  (Romans 5:8)

I John 2:18-27 "Antichrist Shall Come"

John warns that antichrist shall come, and his ministers are already on the scene.  To avoid deception, believers are urged to "abide" in the Truth.   The Spirit and the Word of God are the remedy for spiritual error and disaster.

I John 2:12-17 "The Love God Hates"

In this Father's day message, John instructs children, young men, and fathers not to love the world or the world system which is under the control of antichrist.  God is love, but love is not God.   The world is passing away but God's Word abides forever.
