Revelation 20:1-10 ”The Devil on Death Row”

In today's episode we look at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.  To begin with, Satan is bound for 1,000 years.  Then the saints of all ages are shown in places of authority and judgment over the world.  Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords ruling on this earth for a literal 1,000 year period.  After the 1,000 years, Satan is unleashed to lead one last rebellion of mankind.  God will quickly put an end to this and cast the devil into the lake of fire.  We will look at the various views on the Millennium and the idea of annihilation. 

Revelation 19:11-21 ”KING OF KINGS”

We have finally come to the much anticipated theme of the book of Revelation!  Jesus Christ returns to Earth with the armies of Heaven accompanying Him.  He is coming to judge and make war in righteousness!  Those who return with Him will only be spectators.  He alone will destroy His enemies with the power of His Word!  No longer wearing a crown of thorns, He returns with man crowns (diadems) upon His head.  Appropriately, He is named the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS!!! 

Revelation 19:1-10 ”The Hallelujah Chorus of Heaven”

In chapter 18 and verse 20, the inhabitants of Heaven are told to rejoice over the destruction of Babylon.   Chapter 19 opens with a response of Hallelujah's!  This word "Hallelujah" (which means "Praise the LORD") occurs only here in the New Testament these four times.   We are also told the marriage of the Lamb has arrived.   An invitation to the marriage supper of the Lamb awaits for the blessed!   Finally, John does something for which the angel reproves him.

Revelation 18: ”The Destruction of Babylon”

In today's episode we look at the destruction of political and commercial Babylon.   The Old Testament prophecies of the total destruction of Babylon are finally fulfilled.   God's call to His people in this chapter (and to all ages) is "Come out of her". 

Revelation 17: ”The Beast and the Harlot Part Ways”

In today's episode we do a full exposition of Revelation chapter 17.  John is given information by this "Bowl Angel" that explains the nature of the relationship between the Beast, the Ten Horns, and The Harlot.   They are able to coexist for a time. But in a dramatic twist, the 10 Kings turn on The Harlot and become the agents of her destruction.  Join us with an open Bible as we hear what the Spirit has to say. 

Revelation 17:6-8 ”The Mystery of the Woman and the Beast”

One of the angels who had the seven bowls/vials continues to explain to John the "judgment of the great harlot".  John was astonished to see this woman was "drunk with the blood of the saints".   The attention next turns to the Beast which John had already seen in chapter 13. There is particular emphasis on the fact that the Beast will apparently suffer a fatal would and have a miraculous recovery.  All whose names were not written in the Book of Life will worship this beast when they witness his reemergence. 

Revelation 17:1-5 ”The Great Harlot”

In today's episode, we look at one of the most difficult passages within the book of Revelation.  John is visited by an angelic interpreter who will explain to him the judgment of Great Babylon.   The first few verses give a description of this woman who "sits on many waters".   Old Testament prophecy and scripture will help us to interpret the symbolism. 

Revelation 15 & 16 ”The Seven Bowl Judgments”

In today's episode, we come to the final series of judgments on the "earth-dwellers" in Revelation.  The 7 Bowl (KJV says "vials") Judgments especially target those who worship the beast.  They are unprecedented and unparalleled in their scope and destruction.  Despite the awful outpouring of God's wrath, men choose to blaspheme God rather than repent.   These judgments pave the way for the campaign of Armageddon, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. 

Revelation 14: ”Scenes of Hope”

Today we look at the proleptic scene of the Lamb on Mt Zion victorious and the 144,000 are with Him.  We also have several dramatic announcements from angels, warning the earth-dwellers of God's judgment to come on unbelievers.  One final time, God pleads with men to repent and acknowledge Him as Creator.   We also see images of harvest when Jesus and the holy angels are coming to separate the wheat from the tares.  God is seen as treading down His enemies like grapes in a winepress.

Revelation 13:11-18 ”The False Prophet”

We are continuing in Revelation 13 and now we are introduced into a second beast that resembles a lamb but speaks as a dragon.  We also read of signs, wonders, and miracles that will deceive many into worshipping the first beast (whose deadly wound was healed).  These beasts are able to achieve a one-world government and a one-world religion.  All will be forced to take the mark of the beast or else they will not be able to buy, sell, or participate in the global economy.   This will be a time of unprecedented deception.   Make sure that you are familiar with the Truth today and have a relationship with Jesus Christ!
